Gray, khaki, and white are the typical neutrals around a home. But, at Brooke & Birdie, we think blue is an exciting neutral as well. There are soft blues, bright blues, bold blues, light blues. Teal blue, navy blue, periwinkle blue, royal blue. Blue can be used as a soft or striking backdrop paint color or wall covering for most any room. It works as a solid, a stripe or a print for upholstered furniture. Pops of blue can be mixed with green, pink, orange, tan, white, yellow – really, most any color (even another shade of blue like below from Oomph). Blue can exude luxury. Blue can portray casual. Blue can be fun. Blue can be stately. Blue can be just about anything you want it to be.
