Spring Market

Spring Market always brings us joy. It’s such a treat to spend time with old friends and see what new treasures they’ve created for you!  While the experience can sometimes be overwhelming – there’s just so much to see, and inspiration is around every corner – we’ve edited down the multi-day experience to share our three favorites with you. Rest assured, while we’re only writing about our top three High Point inspirations, we have a lot of ideas tucked away to use when you work with Brooke & Birdie to design or freshen your home’s interior.

1. If you’ve worked with us, you know we believe lighting is one of the most important facets of a room. Once complete, the lighting sets a mood, certainly. But, as we design a space it can set the whole feel of the room. Margo fell in love with modern crystal chandeliers from AERIN. Like us, they are classics, with a modern point of view. Can you imagine one of these in your dining or bedroom? We certainly can. 
2. April showers bring May flowers: It’s a cliché because it’s true! This April’s market reminded us of all the beautiful spring colors at our disposal and how we can use them to brighten a room, or create a soothing space. While larger pieces from our designers were mostly monochromatic, fresh bold colors, inspired by nature, were around every corner. And with that, visions of pink, coral, yellow and lavender keep dancing through our heads. Today, we’re looking at fabrics inspired by these beautiful flowers.
   
3. David Phoenix has always been on of Kristen’s favorite designers and he didn’t disappoint with the detail displayed in his newest offerings at Hickory Chair. We are excited to use his Carlton Dining Table (those inlays!) or the Mark Lounge Chair with its sophisticated nail head design in someone’s home this year.
