Finishing Day

Today’s the day – finishing day! We’ve spend months working together – learning your style and where we can open your mind to new possibilities, deciding on the color story, measuring once or twice every inch of the space, choosing each piece of furniture, and finalizing details. Now, is the day we’ve been working toward and the one you’ve been looking forward to. We’re finishing our work on this project together!

This is our absolute favorite day. While we’ve likely already installed the floor covering (because that’s always where Brooke & Birdie begins), and we’ve had a few pieces delivered (because we don’t like you to have to pay unnecessary storage fees), today it all comes together like a beautiful package tied in a grosgrain bow. We’ve likely encouraged you to leave for a few hours so you can come home to your new space, without having to deal with our team’s hustle and bustle.

While you’re away, we’re busy. We’ll spend the day finalizing furniture placement, perhaps having the window coverings installed and we’ll complete the final touches – with pillows and frames, flowers and décor. Then, ta-da! When you come home, you get to sip some bubbly and enjoy your new room. Insider’s hint: we find your pets (like Hershey, pictured here) can be a great help to us on finishing day.
